Printable Blank Pinyin Four-Line Paper: how to use it
How do I create blank pinyin guides?
Select pinyin mode and clear the practice content. The preview will show a full page of four-line guides with three writing zones. Remove the example letters; content containing only spaces or line breaks also produces a blank practice area.
The four horizontal lines divide the writing area into three zones. Initials, finals and tone marks are not preprinted, but the title, name and date fields, and footer remain on the sheet.
What pinyin practice can I use this paper for?
Copy pinyin from teaching materials to practice upper, middle and lower placement, or write syllables from dictation. To add printed models and light gray tracing, enter the pinyin you want in the content field.
Blank paper does not check spelling or tone-mark placement, and it is not a combined Chinese-character-and-pinyin grid. The size options adjust the overall four-line layout; they do not give every writing zone the same height in millimeters.
How do I print several blank pinyin sheets?
Download the single-page PDF in your selected Letter or A4 size, then choose the matching paper size and number of copies in the print dialog. Choose Actual size or 100%, then check that none of the four guide lines are lost through scaling or clipping.
For browser printing, turn off extra headers and footers so the browser does not add its own URL and date. If the lines are too faint, try gray lines or adjust print quality before printing more copies.
